When sg lands in us soil either for health care or for any other visits and the threat of of her imminent arrest owing to a case pending against her in a us court ,is viewed as shackling of her freedom of movement in and out of that country and and also as a humiliation to political leader of her stature ,that is a denting of image ,s an prestige issue ,such a emotional viewpoint will always be a tool in the hands of us admins to blackmail its counter part in india to cut deals in its favour ,where ever it is possible in indo -US relations till such time the ovt in here lets its decisions[ even if such decisions in the gov ts opinion will be to the benefit of vast millions of this country to be over ruled being clouded by sentiment and emotion so as to benefit a single person.
simply put sg' travails in future travels to US will open up a lot of oppurtunities to Uncle sam .It is upto the govt here to decided whether to succumb or not.
