Ambarame thaneere sore aranseiyum,
emperumaan nandagopala!yezhundhirai

meaning:
Our Swamy Nandagopala who gifts clothes ,water and food to the satisfaction of those seeking alms ,wake up!
 Leading lady Yashodha you are  like the unfurling of a fresh young leaf on a stalk and is a auspicious light of your matrimonial house ,realise that it is time to wake up  !
Supreme lord who once measured the entire space as well as the earth by growing immensely and filling every inch , do not sleep and do wake up !
Prosperous Balarama whose feet is shod in burnished gold sandals , you and your younger brother must awaken from your slumber.

Andal --

Today is women's day .The woman who at once comes to my mind is Andal,the 16 year old girl who composed verses seeped with devotion to Narayana and that which is also unrivalled in its poetic beauty and stringing  of words that never loses its unique charm even if it is read over and over again.

The very fact that her compositions written in 9 th cent AD have not disappeared into the dust of history with passage of time but is still recited in all Sri vaishnavaite temples in all major festivals and in all households during the entire month of Margazhi--DEC to Jan by all vaishnavaites irrespective of age and gender [though it was composed by  a young girl  for young girls seeking  boons from Krishna/ narayana] testifies the great respect and honour bestowed by our ancients on a woman which has been upheld all down through the ages.till today.
Every Sri Vaishnava temple in tamilnadu and elsewhere have in its percinits a mandatory sannidhi that houses the idol of Andal and is regularly worshipped .This is an extraordinary honour conferred upon a woman ,though an mortal as she enjoys a permanent abode  nearly at par with that of Lakshmi the goddess of wealth and the consort of Vishnu, the immortal, main deities of sri vaishnava temple.

Andal is not only a shining example of deep devotion and the ability to scale high intellectual and poetic levels that clearly over  shadows many a men scholastic, devotional and poetic achievements but it is also the fact that her devotion and skills have been ungrudginly recognised and a very  high position has been conferred upon her by succeeding  saints and acharyas and devotees by immortalising her works and person.

Kaliyug

Read an article on schizoprenia.The sounds on my ceiling were deliberately done to make me write about it and make my viewers believe that i suffered from delusions/hallucinations .otherwise i have never heard sounds etc.And it was so consistently done that it has foisted an unwanted hot line between me and the censures.it is still being done through comp etc.the insecurity  and cunningness of people around me is simply baffling..Just how am i going to hurt their interests ?The fear of anna movt is over so it could be of the other fear  that of rights activists.Over whom if i have any influence it is non violent unlike on  the left.   This is more or less like a forcible conversion .Truth is there for all to see and i am no politician to cloak it.
Second is the feeling of mental contact.This was and is deliberately done by reading articles to me at night as i sleep and then i come and blog somewhat similarily and then i would wonder aloud at meeting of minds or yell at those who have not copied that, projecting me as typical scizho This is quite tricky since some did copy me earlier. and when i read articles in certain sites that have been read to me they are covered from my view till i blog on similar vein .At present it could be fan my own doubts and cause confusion within me plus be the cover up of  misdemeanours of the past at my expense.

                                                                                                                                                               if cnnibn comes with facts it is fine but if i sort of grasped the general yearning  2 years back it wasn't. Poor cousin had to be shown her place for her daring .

If some one is activist for money it is fine but if it is done without taking money it is not!

If an anchor/anchoress/journalists makes a lot of money by verbally trashing  every one and express their opinion it is fine if i do the same  freely it isn't!

This upside down state affairs is a classic example of what the scriptures describe a Kaliyug to be

Meaning:

Gate keepers of the heroic Nandagopala's mansion with its festooned entrance and flag staff, unlock the doors studded with gems.

The turquoise hued magician had promised yesterday that he wold pronounce his boon to us, the girls of  yadave clan
We have gathered here with pure heart to awaken him out of his sleep and to hear the boon
Sir, do not deny our request and kindly open the twin doors that are shut .

Comment on a net article on Wendy issue.

On 3 rd morning i clicked on good on Arvind neelakantan 's article on the on going fracas over Wendy D's book pulping  after a hurried reading of the article.

Clicking is a very small matter,yet after having burnt my fingers in the minefield of this net , that hasty clicking kept needling me, so next day i read it patiently and found the answer .It is a political article , that betrays the apprehension of the author that the furore over the book pulping may paint right wing parties whose chances are bright in the upcoming elections as unpalatable fascist, conservative , illiberal etc to the world by pointing out that when bjp was in power it never banned any book even if such books were  insensitive to Hindu sentiments whilst Cong had banned several books films etc mainly to please their vote bank --minorities.

So i went through the petition against the said author and her  book which  he had said will not hold good in court..
I will never read that 800 pgs book when i have real and genuine books, treatises, hymns , on Hinduism written by scores of ancient scholars, poets and saints in Sanskrit and Tamil to quench my thirst on Hinduism and went through the petition only to find out as to what was bothering the petitioner..

Actually the petition is fine.Since there are provisions in the law against hurting religious sentiments the petitioner has made out his case fairly well .
                                                                                                 I also went through some articles and found that the historical facts stated in the said book are not correct.Having studied history honours i know that the 'Bhakthi movement that encompasses both Saivaites and vaishnavaites --'in India started way back in 5 the century AD  and not in medieval period.In fact i have translated several devotional or Bakthi hymns in Tamil of  vaishnavaite saints belonging to 5 the century AD and onwards till 9 th cent AD in my earlier blog Sujataism as well as in this blog.Thirupavai -the  evidence and the result of Bhakthi movt belongs to 9 th cent Ad.The dates i have been taught at college  have all been arrived at in scientific manner viz carbon dating, archaeological evidences as well as from contemporaneous literary works with established dates.

By clicking in a hurry i have endorsed net article's author  fear [for him genuine from his political point of view]which sort of  mirrors my own need to clarify my own position in my open letter to Modi fans.That of the tenacity of the unseen Hand to throw as many hurdles as possible through what ever means [ i am  one such] in what it is seeing as a unstoppable race to the first place by the star athlete in its rival camp.
